You need a pedal and cable from any 99-02 GMT 800 truck.

The Vans from this ERA Never had DBW They where all DBC. You can get The PCM from a Van 03-07. This will have the Drivers for IAC.

You then need to modify the harness on your truck. Truck has 1 big plug, DBC use 2 small plugs. Find the corresponding wires and wire them to the new plug.

Are the proper wires available in the current DBW plug so you can just repin the two new plugs on there, or do you have to run additional wires to the PCM?

I have not done it my self and I do not have the diagrams in front of me.

I believe they are using existing pins in the big plug. Maybe some of they guys whom have actually done it can chime in and explain what they did.

I know the Van PCM is basically the same but they have the IAC drivers installed I think it has the same part number on it as well. Just a different calibration in it.

This appears to have some really good information in it.

DBW to DBC Conversion 03+ Harnesses
Its mostly correct except the vans used it up until around 07 when they swaped to Gen 4 engines and E38 ECU's

but more specifically it tells you how to do it.

I also saw this posted during my research. Not sure of accuracy of the chart, someone else is the one who posted it.

I would like to do the same to my truck when I switch to a hi-ram

I'm sure its fairly accurate but some of the vans and trucks use the same PCM as the trucks. I don't know the hardware numbers like the PCM Service numbers so I wouldn't know for sure.

My self, I find it is easiest to just pull one from a Van at the local wrecking yard. Then I know for sure it has the drivers. Any 03-07 Express van will work. They are usually about $50 here.

That's my plan as well, vans are abundant in the junkyards here. If I know the numbers to look for, it should be easier. Don't the vans allow for 3bar map SD tuning as well?

And a pedal from a 99-02 truck, I would assume the van wouldn't be the same since the floors are way different... Right?
