Thank you for the information. yeah just found the thread about the o2 sensor on the driver side, and possible frame rail interference on the passenger side. I will still keep my options open on the headers and Y pipe.

Got some more parts ordered...went with the speed engineering headers and just going to make my own dual stainless exhaust with x pipe. Decided on hptuners (vs efilive). He is leaning towards a nitrous kit for now (rather than a turbo kit), said he wants to try to keep up with my zr1!

Got the engine all buttoned up with the new TSP cam and dual spring set. Ended up putting the transgo shift kit in the 4l80e. Got the Lingenfelter conversion box, x-link throttle body harness, and knock/cam sensor harness from katech on the way. Along with hptuners pro suite with a tune from Pat G.

One question I have is, as for using the 03-06 intake tube with the ly6, the passenger side pcv hose from the valve cover usually goes into the intake tube on the original vehicle. Any ideas on where to route it in this applicate? I guess I see no harm in drilling a hole and putting it in the 03-06 intake tube?

Thank you for all the help folks!

thank you for the top. worked well.

Got the engine and trans installed, modified the cross member for the 4l80e.

Ended up getting a holley drop-in fuel pump unit so its a direct swap, no modification at all. The speed engineering headers fit great. i had ordered the 1 3/4 headers, but ended up switching to the 1 7/8. Got new motor mounts, and passenger side is still fairly close to the frame...so we will see how it works out.

after lots of reading i ended up buying some new transmission fittings along with some push-lock fittings to modify the transmission lines.

Should be fired up by next weekend. got the hptuners from Pat G today, but still waiting on the x-link and the katech knock sensor/cam sensor harness, and 58x-24x conversion box.

thank you all for all the help and support on here.

FWIW the lingenfelter box requires a 4x cam reluctor. I see where someone earlier told you to use a 1x.

I meant if he was trying to run off the gen 3 ecm, he would need the 1xcam sprocket

You told him to get the box and a 1x cam reluctor. You have to feed the box a 58x crank signal and a 4x cam signal to run a gen 3 pcm.
