2005 6.0 3500 express van 12 pass
#1
Dumb question, but has anyone done anything to their stock van? Either for performance or gas mileage? I love the power of the 6.0 but only get about 15-16 with the 3.73 rear. Does a drop in K&N help? Granatelli plug wires? MAF? WIll any of those fit the van? HELP! I can sell the other half if it might improve mileage. What about full synthetic conversion?

the motors are the same, you might have a bigger trans(4L80e).
1. tuning-can help milage and I picked up 20hp
2. Kn-save your money
3. Plug wires as replacement, your stock ones will do
4,maf-leave stock
5. Most are running syn and not getting any gains
If you want it to feel more sporty get a higher stall torque converter, but get a tune, figure out what trans you have, get a shift kit/servos...maybe TC...and it will feel like a complete different van.

Still nobody that has modded their Express Van? Would love to take the seats out and let the beast run the 1/4 just for fun. Really, though, would love to improve the base performance some and gain some mpg. Heck, my old Dodge 5.9 Ramvan got the same mileage. Pure crap.
