I picked up a complete 2004 bumper, airdam and foglights from a guy for my 02 Sierra HD. Could someone please post pics of the "framehorns" I have to cut, where the new ones go and where the washers I have to add go, to eliminate that gap between the new grill shell and bumper? I searched four different truck forums but no one has a write up or pics the threads I found. Your pics and tips will truely help. I thank you all for your help.

04 bumper on an 02 HD front? I've never seen or heard of this being done

I thought you just bought an 04 HD grille and it has the plastic piece inbetween

 

Yeah you could do that but its gonna have that piece and it looks like **** or you could weld it 2-3 inches higher (or add washers to lift bumper up higher) and get a nice clean look without that piece.
