Default 2002 Z71 Front Lights Electrical Issu

Hello Everybody !

in France (Sorry) I need to apply neccessary modifications to be in conformity !!!!!

so, if someone could help me :

1) First, identify all lights functionalities on the 2002 Z71
2) Explain me what wiring i have to do to change some functions, or perhaps help me to find a Lights Wiring Diagram !

For the first issue : Here is a picture with numbers on lights, some are running well, some other lights never switch on, could someone please help ?

What i have today :
Light 1) : High Beam
Light 2) : Low Beam
Light 3) : Unknown ! Never lights on !!!
Light 4) : "parking" or "Side" lights (sorry don't know the exact term (automatic with dome override) and run with blinkers
Light 5) : Blinkers
Light 6) : Fog Lights

Now, here is what i need in F..... france :
Light 1) : High Beam
Light 2) : Low Beam
Light 3) : ... i don't know ! an idea ?
Light 4) : "Parking" light only Important DOESN'T HAVE TO BLINK WITH BLINKERS
Light 5) : ONLY Blinkers
Light 6) : Fog Light

.... Could somebody help me ?

regards

that don't sound too difficult. let me think a second

#3 is the DRL (Daytime Running Lamp). it's optional in the US and required in Canada (i ain't sure of European standards). these bulbs are white. if they never come on, you should check to see if the bulbs are blown. if so, replace with 4114s. if that don't fix it, one thing to check would be to see if the lower housing has crimped the wiring between the mounting tabs. that happened to me once.

#4 - paring light/blinker. these are amber. if you have to disable the flashing feature, i reckon you could use a meter to see which of the 3 leads controls the flashing and disconnect it.

#5 - these are also amber. i don't know if you can make them only blinkers or not. the way they're wired, they're either on or off - steady on with the parking lights or blinking with the turn signals or hazards.

My #5's were white with an amber lens, I think they were 194 bulbs. I have amber bulbs now that I switched to clear corners.

The DRL's are known for burning out, you see the trucks and suvs driving around with one on and one off all the time.
