yeah i know you can buy a lot of nos for the 4.8 if you dont get the 5.3 but i hit high 13 on my 5.3 without spray.

 

What mods do you have?

 

The problem with 4.8 is it just has no torque. It is NUTLESS below 2000RPM.

The 13.7 was two years ago with just a 70 shot. The motor is (was) basically stock other then the nitrous. Since then I have done a few more things and more then doubled the nitrous. Im hoping Im in the twelves now. I really need to get back to the track this summer.

 

hey bad intentions what mods have you done to your truck and what advice do you have to give to me if i want to make my truck as flippin fast as yours is after seein you step on it. I have a 5.3L 02 GMC 2wd just the 40 series exhaust, and debating on a Volant CAI or a K&N FIPK Generation II.

 

well i guess you can do what i did to mine which is for sure switch out your intake and thorttle body msd wires long tube headers cut out.... stall and of course all the free mods.... oh hold on you cant forget a good tune.... i got pcm or less but going to get nelson to hook me up to go a little faster....
