I heard there was going to be a Lightning roast at Memphis Motorsports next week.What night is it?I'm sure L-Eater would like to come too.Jim said save him the slowest Harley.Jim told me that you were stirring up the local Lightning boys and that more were coming to Memphis next week.

 

I was suppose to run a Lightning last Thursday night but he wanted to wait until this Tuesday night because he said there was going to be a SVT meet up at the track that night.

I don't know if he was trying to dodge me or if there is really going to be a SVT meet?

I'll just show up and see what happens, I know which one he drives. The one that has the plate "BDAZSVT"

 

I would be all over coming to a "Lightning roast" but it seems I can't because I went to a "piston roast" last Tues night! Poor hearing, lean mixture, and detonation=busted pistons. I am calling to order some stuff tomorrow morning but it looks like I will be down and out for a few weeks.

Just talked to the SVT guy, He says there is going to be a local chapter meet of SVT vehicles Tuesday night, lots of Mustangs for you TNtruck, and Lightnings for Whitt and L-eater, and Escorts for me!
The Lightning I'm supposed to race runs 13.5's he says. He was joking about putting a shot of gas on his to make it fair, Well what about me bolting on a supercharger! Wonder how he new about my NOS?

 

damn there are some slow lightnings in Memphis.
If I buy Whitt's trans I will pick it up in a lightning Could get fun

 

The fastest Lightning at Motorsports park ran 11.8, at the end of last season.
He has just about modded ford out from under the hood though.Most run tall
12's to tall 13's depending on mods,but you could raise the bar.
