2-kills & 2-deaths
For the kills, yesterday afternoon I went to fill my tank (actually filled it half ways) and when I got back on the road I saw this red rc/sb silverado dropped w/20's. So I wait for him to catch up, rev it, he reponds and away we go. We wer rolliln, probably about 40 or so i put about 1/2 car lenght on him 
. So I make a u-turn, head for home when another chevy truck(probably a stock 4.8L) that looked stock starts reving at me. I was doing about 30 this time, I put 2/3 car lenght on him 
.
Now for the deaths, Today while coming home from work I see this 89/93 5.0 Mustang GT. That thing sounded nasty
, he passes me and starts stumping on it. We coincidently meet at a red light, so I say what the hell . Light turns green, hes having traction problems, my truck gives a little chirp, I take the lead for a second or two, then suddenly WHAM! The damn mustang passes me like if I was standing still 
.
So I get home a little dissapointed
, start washing my Iroc-Z. Suddenly a friend of mine (wich used to own a 00 T/A) drops by with this real nice 03 blue 5.3L chevy truck. He starts talking about how he traded hes T/A and some cash for this nice truck. The thing has a bed cover, 22's, SS badges, etc. He said the engine was completely stock except for the K&N kit . We have 4 runs, 2 rollin and the other from a stop. Damn 5.3 totally dominates over my 4.8. We head back home, he starts laughing and tells me he has more than a K&N intake(K&N kit, hypertech, 160t-stat, etc) 
. Overall hes truck didnt put that much lenght over mine, I was actually close to hes rear bumper for the most part. Oh well sorry for the long post, I guess its time to start looking for a 6.0 engine.

Sorry to here on the deaths. Those 5.0 are sneaky... some are fast and some just suck. You hang on pretty good to the bolton 5.3 so thats not too bad. Laters.

My truck: 01 rc/sb GMC Sierra with the 4.8L engine. My bolt on's are: K&N FIPK III intake kit, Hypertech programer & 160t-stat, 3.73 gears, taylor wires, plus 4 spark plugs riding on 20x9.5 with 295/40-20 tires. Man this is just not cool, what other mods would you guys recomend I use on my 4.8L to beat my buddies 5.3L? Or should I instead look for a 6.0L and go from there? All I know is im a little , laters.....
