What year is your truck? Clutch fans get a bad rep, but they are much better than electrics when you are moving.

I think the 2500 trucks kept the fan clutch to date.

I searched for I while and found that the cheaper plastic tank units with dual row cores were discontinued. I had one before it blew out the side seals and could never find another. I paid out the butt for my BeCool unit I have now. With that radiator and mezerie wp I can cruze around with temps staying around 180-190.

Maybe worth going back to a new clutch fan because it does flow better than the efans

Well im thinking about paying for the be cool setup. And going to a 180 stat. Were you towing with your truck causing overheating?

Never really overheated just ran on the hotter side when I put in the rebuilt motor and was more for longevity reasons. I do not tow often just a 30ft boat on short trips and no steep grades around here.

Are you sure the radiator you have now is working properly maybe hit it with a thermal gun to check for hot spots?

It really only gets hot on a certain place. Its like 10 miles of 6 or 7 % grade.
