2/4 drop 4wd RCSB Shock Recommendation
Been a long time since I have been on this site since I sold off my old truck.
Snagged a RCSB 06 Sierra 4wd. Previous owner did a TB crank, but I will be going in the opposite direction and doing a 2/4 drop.
Currently it sits 4" taller than my fathers RCSB 2wd NBS.
Just looking to get it close to a 2wd stance leveled out.
Going to decrank the TB, remove block and shackles. Mod the bumpstops correctly and see how it rides. Currently the ride is not that great since it is off the bumpstops up front by 3/4"
Question is am I in need of new shocks after the 2/4 drop front and rear? I would like to get by on the stocks for a bit to see if I like the ride. If the ride sucks I will do the coilover conversion from atomic. This is a weekend fun truck, so if it is a decent ride I will live with it versus dropping $700-800 for the conversion.

Trevor thanks for the thread link.
As for the drop spindles it would be coil overs for the cost difference.
I worked on the truck a bit today and took out the rear block and dropped the front down so it rides leveled.
Weather was crap today with snow, so I did not bother to see how the truck rides now since it would just slide around.
I will order up some shocks and drop shackles and see how more I can get out of the stock keys and alter the front bump stops accordingly.
If it rides like crap, then coilovers.
