My brother bough a truck, 85' Chevy and he has the title but the VIN is missing on the dash. Where else is the VIN located or "secretly" located so that we can verify this truck is legit. Any information will be appreciated.

If everything is original, it should be inside the door, and I believe on the firewall in the engine compartment. my '76 is 400 miles away or Id see where they are on it
