Default 17 y/o bumper plastic refresh- spray-on bedliner

Got tired of looking at beat up bumper pads on my SS, and wanted to try something cheaper than replacements.

Ick.

Dirt and sun bleaching.

Upper done.

Used this stuff off amazon.

Prep.

Little plant is helping.

Done. Not too bad for $8 rattle can spray on bedliner.

Sorry for the sideways pics, posting from my phone went a little, well sideways.

Fairly pleased. Looks much better than before, no telling how well it will hold up. There is some texture to it on its own, and it went on easily with 3-4 light coats. May spray my grille inserts as they are 17 year old sad as well.

Looks good to me. I just bought 8 liter raptor liner kit to spray my whole truck, almost done preparing everything. Had to get all that plastic dip off, never do that again.

Looks good for rattle can for sure. Hard to tell from the pics but the texture should be nice for a little bit of grip.

Thanks for the compliment. I am a novice when it comes to paint and body stuff, and was pretty surprised how well it turned out.

I used a rattle can rubberized coating on my NNBS intake cover a few years ago.

No fading, no chipping yet.

You can use a heat gun the bring back the black from the faded gray. Just make sure you put some with uv protection on them every so often to get the from turning gray.
