07 Yukon Denali
#1
I recently picked up an 07 Denali and I have a question. It has to do with the 2 power plugs ( what used to be cigarette lighters ) right below the radio on the driver and passenger side.
Basically I have a Garmin and a charger for my Blackberry. To test them out I first plugged in the Garmin charger and the red light lit up and everything was ok. I then stuck the charger for the Blackberry and plugged it in. The charger didn't light up. I then plugged back in the Garmin and the red light on there no longer lit up. My question is did the blackberry blow a fuse or something in the power plug? If it did what fuse would I be looking for to replace?
If it is not a fuse then what. Both plugs are now not working and I'm not happy about it.

Have you checked the fuses yet to see if it blew? If it did, replace it. If it goes out again then you have an issue that needs to be addressed.
If the fuse is not blown, then check the connections at the plug itself and the ground. It could be possible that something came loose at the same time you were messing with it.

You've blown a fuse in the side fuse panel. Both of the power outlets are on the same circuit. The Blackberry may have drawn an overcurrent and caused the fuse to blow. Just pop your fuse panel cover off and it'll probabaly be labeled ACC or LTR or something like that, I can't really remember. Probably a 25 amp.
