Went and looked Friday, looking at getting a new Sierra when my Blazer's warrranty runs out, so most likley around winter. I looked at new 08s, ideally would like to find a left over 08 in 09. I want a Z-71 extended cab, saw they sold them in 2wd. I was really impressed by the interior, looked a lot nicer then the older generation. Also the fuel economy is about the exact same as the Blazer I drive now. How do you like your truck over all?

 

Have an 08 quad cab 4x4. Most comfortable truck I have ever owned. Also best riding. Even with the lift and upgraded tires and wheels it still rides nice. Z71 package is a 4wd only package unless a dealer threw on a sticker. Which they can do and is gay.

 

The Z71 package is definitely offered in 2wd on the new trucks, like it or not.

 

yup it is somthing chevy started with the colorado. Z71 is available in both 2wd and 4wd now.

 

they are available with only 2wd also, the "z-71" is just a suspension package now, the 4x4 comes as a seperate option u can get, i know used to sell them

 

The truck is great handles great drives great but the only problem is th 4 speed trans

 

I have a RCSB with just a couple of mods, and I absolutely love it. Rides great, handles good, and the MPG is great at 21-22 hwy.
