Looks to me bulkier bigger, i sorta like it hopefully we will get to see it soon enough.
Some powertrain info too. I dont know for sure we will get the 6.2 but hopefully we will. The SS would be nice if it has the 400hp and 410tq version of the 6.2.
4.8L iron block (RPO LY2), rated at 290 horsepower (216 kw)*
5.3L iron block (RPO LY5) with Displacement On Demand technology, rated at 320 horsepower (238 kw)* – including E85-capable version (RPO LMG)
5.3L aluminum block (RPO LC9) with Displacement On Demand technology and E85 capability, rated at 320 horsepower (238 kw)*
6.0L iron block (LY6) heavy-duty engine with variable valve timing, rated at 350 horsepower (261 kw)*
6.0L aluminum block (L76) with Displacement On Demand technology and variable valve timing, rated at 355 horsepower (264 kw)*
6.2L aluminum block (L92) with variable valve timing, capable of 380 to 400 horsepower (283 to 298 kw)*
The higher hp from the 6.0&6.2 comes also from castings of the ls7 heads.
And the 4.8-5.3 will all get ls6 casting from the ls6.

Forgot to mention the 6L80E. That's gonna be a nice powertrain... the 6.2L/6L80E. Wonder what gears these trucks'll be running in back.
I see prices of 6.0Ls dropping from 2005 models on down.

Nice find, it's a little too blury for me to really see anything though. I was at a dealership like a year ago and overheard a couple of salesman talking to eachother about how the design is going to totally change in 07, I guess they were right. They also said something like 06 would be the last year for stepsides for any auto maker, I guess we'll see..

It can look a bit like the ridgeline but this is a real mans truck. I just cant wait to see them people that acctually saw the sierra and silverado said they like the gmc better, but i bet the silverado front end is gonna be more agressive. The trucks will also be 200-300 pounds heavier due to fully boxed frames.
