07 Dod People Watch Out

It could happen if the valve was left open when he shut it off, fuel leaked in. Then the shitty DoD lifter bled down losing it's pressure causing the valve to close. Ta-da what do I win?
I know these lifters are notorious for not holding pressure.

OK, let me get this straight. An injector locked open and poured fuel into an open cylinder.
How long was the key left in the ignition? The fuel pump doesn't run unless the key is in the ignition.
That would be a LOT of fuel needed to hydro-lock a cylinder. I know the fuel rail can't hold that much.

I really want to see what those SRT8 Jeeps can do...Have you looked at a Trailblazer SS??
Do you have a pic of all your trucks you've had...seems like your always getting something new to play with.

I know these lifters are notorious for not holding pressure. If you fill a cylinder with fuel, the hydrolock occurs when the piston is on compression stroke. Both valves would be closed anyway. DOD has nothing to do with this. We already have replaced a 5.3L here in an 06' Tahoe with a broken crank.
