Default 06 Denali

Anyone here own a 06 or similar year Sierra Denali? Found a local one for 11k in great shape just high miles. Was looking to pick it up and use it as a daily back and forth to work and basically keep the wear and tear off my new truck. Dumb question. When ordering bolt ons, I'm assuming even though it has the 6.0 that all bolt ons will remain the same? I.E. Headers off a Silverado 1500 5.3 in same year will fit this truck? I am assuming the major difference lies within the AWD system that it has instead of the selectable 2wd/4wd? Wheel specs the same? Looking to pick it up tomorrow but wanted to double check before I pull the trigger

Yes you are correct, mods will interchange. As long as you dont mind the maintenance of servicing the transfer case and diff then jump on it if its a good deal. Here's a good thread where I deleted my AWD system for ease of maintenance.

Thanks for the quick response and the link. I took it for a drive and it had very sloppy steering, but from what I have read it's a pretty easy fix on he adjustment on steering box or replace it. I put a deposit on it so I can look at it in more daylight today and take it to car wash to spray water over the sunroof to make sure it doesn't leak but the car was in amazing shape even with the high miles and a clean car fax so it's looks to be good to go.,

Hard to find any build threads or pics of any with different wheels and such it seems. I will keep using search button though.

Make sure that you don't hear a growl from it on the freeway from the front and rear diff or the transfer case and your so good
