It's semi-gloss black. It looks a lot better than the graphite grey or light grey ones!
I wouldn't be changing it out if I didn't like it better. All the new 06' & up trucks have the black ones. Check them out.

yeah same here, I didn't mind paying a little extra to have it immediately and to not have to deal with shipping and payment over the internet and stuff
