if you are not planning on a motor swap then get a 5.3...... where are you from??? here in texas they seem to be all over the place...

as for removing the Z71 "stuff"- all a Z71 consists of is skidplates, different shocks, possibly springs, the G80 locking rear diff, and most important- stickers!

so if i'm gonna lower it anyway, theres no reason to rule out buying a z71?

i would rule out a z71, its a 4 wheel drive. you could lower it if you want to, but its heavier. and as far as motors, i would get a 5.3, its a little harder to find than the 4.8. but it has more torque.

i got a 2006 rcsb 4x4 i paid 20,000 dollars for new in july but then i put 20s on it lowered it cat back exuasht tinted windows alpine head unit chrome mirrors black out tail lights and throtlle bodie spacer and msd spark plug wires and air intake it just started ou putting wheels on it its is very addicting

I think its been available since 99. I know its available for both of the 2007's.
