all i have to say is the altitude sucks up here. we are up on top of a plato whick sucks, something like 3000+ft. above sea level. plus the track sucked real bad, i spun like crazy off the line and the track itself was real bumpy.

well enough of my excuses. i ran a 16.259@86.42 with a 2.532 60 foot. at bay town i ran a 16.151@85.78. my differences between the two runs were: new tires GT2 and the HPP3.

if you dont believe my excuses, just ask phatchevy, he was there with me. so, im still at the bottom, but just wait till i get back to houston, i will run again.lol.

With the HPPIII, you can see gains of 4 to 6 tenths on the avg. What size tires did you go with. Believe it or not a wider heavier front tire can eat up a little time. Also the attitude did rob you, I don't have the calculator to convert it. What was the temp difference between runs? Based on what you have, I think you can get in the 15.7 or 8 range back down here in late October.

the temp outside was in the low 60's high 50's. the last run which was my best run i left the hood off and the engin off most of the time in the staging lanes.

i run 285/60/16 gt2. these tires are acutaly smaller than what i ran on the first time i went to the track, so they shouldnt be hurting my time, if anything they should be helping.

like i said before, it was a real crapy track, no traction at all off the line.

yeah that track sucked. while driving it would feel like you were going off road. my times were horrible. i ran like 16.037 @ 88mph. back home i run 15.1 @ 91mph. it was rather embarrasing. i didn't really spin that much. i'm running bfg 275/65/16. first thing i do when i go home is going to baytown.
