X-Link Version Identification:
2.1 has a looped pink wire inside each wire loom, all wires pass through the box through 2 bushings/grommets
3.0 similar to 2.1 without the pink wires
3.5 same as 3.0 but has a “4” or “IV” scribed on the box next to the mounting stud
4.0 only 4 wires connected to the box through a single bushing/grommet
