I don't really want to go to all that trouble. I would perfer to have a work truck bumper I can just paint. I know you can spray it with etching primer and whatever but I would rather just prep the WT bumper and spray it with the color.

I would do the deal with the chrome bumper, it looks perfect, have the chrome one sent out and powder coated the color you want, just paint the pads. It will hold up alot better and is tuffer.. Thatis unless you plan to do it all yourself..

If I were closer to you I'd do this. My truck was built with a chrome bumper, but I also changed to the paintable one and had it painted black. They hold the paint alot better than doing the chrome and having it stripped.

Ok, if anyone has a chrome bumper or work truck bumper for a fleetside I am interested. I will also need a trailer hitch, so if you have both let me know and we can work something out on shipping maybe or something. Just let me know what you have, I was rear ended and I need both items. The SS bumper I don't think would look that good on my HD. My lowered 1500 with 24s yes, it fit but not on a lifted HD. So please someone help me out.
