I took a look at the underside of an LS6 valley cover and there's a large black oil separator box, which is where the PCV system pulls its air from, I might want to actually get and LS6 valley cover...
I'll pull mine off and see what it looks like underneath and maybe I can put a filter on it or something.
Another dumb thing I gotta do!

I think I got mine for about $90 brand new with bolts and new gasket from a place on eBay called "Nooks and Trannys" ahahah

Check GM parts direct. That's where I got mine and it was the best price around a few months ago.
