got the motor late yesterday and now i am still searching for a built tranny. I would prefer to get one local just incase i have any problems i can get it fixed pretty quick instead of sending it out.

 

found a guy local to build me a tranny gave me a great deal on it! i will have to save some more money and buy some more mods later.

trying to make up my mind on buying the new camaro ss.

 

just picked up the tranny today and it is headed to the shop to be installed!!

 

Truck should be up and running by FRIDAY!!!!! i have lots of parts that i took off the both the 4.8l and 6.0 engines that i will no longer need. So i will post an ad some time this month with a list of what i am going to sell and yes i will post pics so keep an eye out!

 

Good to hear you replaced your drivetrain! Where did you end up getting the motor and trans from?

 

the motor i ended up getting really lucky because the motor that i wanted was sold but the guy backed out so i ended up stealing it from TT632 on here! The tranny i had Art Carr build it for a hell of a deal as well plus he is right down the street from me! next month or late this month i hope to replace the rear gears and put a locker on. but i still have to figure out what i am going to do with it before i put a stall in it. I know it is going to stay with the 35" tires or bigger but if everything works out i really want to put a sick long travel suspesion kit on the bad boy or get the challenger. I have a lot to think about because this economy sucks!

i have a 6.0 not sure if its lq9 or lq4 looks real clean, when i bought it they said it had 45xxx miles need the money 1500 plus shippin

 

HAHAH i bought a brand spankin new lq4 from TT for acouple bucks more than you are asking for your used motor.!
