A longblock with no internals? Wow... I've never seen one of those! Good luck on your build!

Sorry, I just thought it was funny, referring to a no-internals block as a longblock. Again... Good luck! =)

Oh.. I understand. lol.
Well, it has the heads and crank and everythiing.. just no pistons or anything from the inside the block itself. lol.
But you're right, that IS funny.

AHHHHH... gotcha, so it had been disassembled. I thought you were referring to a bare block. I would laugh even if someone was selling a "longblock" with no pistons/rods, but had the crank in it. Sounds like we're kind of lookin for the same thing though. I've got a machined 347 with balanced rotating assembly and what not about ready to go, just waiting on a couple pistons, but wanted to go iron if at all posisble, and possibly 408 down the road for my application. You'll find something soon I'm sure of it!

Yea.. sounds like a sweet setup.
You boosting it or going all motor?
I planned on boosting mine (T-72/78) on a 9:1 compression. Maybe run 8-10 lbs and pull some low 10's maybe high 9's.
Havent decided...
Good luck, man.
Thanks!!!
Josh

I'm selling my 6.0L longblock out of my 2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD. it has about 64000K on it, about 35000 blown. It recently developed a ticking sound. no idea what it is. i'm told it sounds like a cracked piston. who knows.

The engine is in NY at Turbo-Zone. I only want $600 plus shipping. totally bone stock.
