As far as I know and have been told the stock truck MAF works at a lower RPM and the Z06 starts at a good bit higher RPM. I am not completely sure how it all goes. Allen Nelson explained it all to me. He might be the man to talk to about this. He said the Z06 MAF is calibrated higher which is doesn't work well with my cam. This is where I'm getting the surge in my idle. The PCM doesn't know how to adjust for the MAF and the cam no matter what we do and this causes the IAC (Idle Air Control) to zero itself out. So my fix it to put back in a stock MAF.
