You could get a dipstick from a dealership, I got a tube for my 4l80e for $20 last month at the local Chevy dealership.

 

i bought a dipstick tube for my 80e for 11 bucks at chevy dealership. reuse the 60e's dipstick itself. you just need the tube

 

Got the Manifolds. Thanks for the info on the dip stick. I do need both the tube and stick...My engine and trans came from a van with the 6 foot dipstick and its going in my 68 c/10 so I don't have the 60e dipstick. Anyone happen to have the part numbers handy?

 

Anyone have a spare 60e dip stick? I'll buy the tube but they want $60 for the dip stick.
