L92 Pump will bolt to block ---but
The L92 pumps have a completely different upper H2O connection orientation.
It is straight (no bend) and at a roughly 45 degree angle to the engine vertical centerline. Makes a 90 degree angle to the crancshaft centerline too.
They are needed to run the truck alternator setup and an LS6 intake. Gives clearance for the stock location TB.
However, you are correct -- they will bolt to the block.
