3 times now I have used the ones off ebay with good results each time, just buy the largest one you can fit....and use bead rolled pipe with t-clamps...

What size intercooler will fit behind the grill without having to modify things too much?

look at ebay for obx intercooler, 12"x31"x3.75" somewhere around that spec, I cant remember exactly. I paid like $125 for it.
