Yall should check ebay, i see consoles all colors selling quite regularly

that is the denali console... i drive a denali and would sell my console right now for 1 dollar if anyone would come to my house and swap it out completley with a normal console. it is the biggest piece of **** ever. The doors are all on click latches and the springs get weak...its covered in "gm soft touch paint" that flakes off if a quarter hits it at the wrong angle. go to autotrader and type in denali..you wont find one center console with the paint not peeled off around the edges, its absolute garbage. the above one has clearly been repainted, and it took me over 1 week but i pulled mine out and repainted it, have to take it apart piece by piece and the paint is a real pain to get off (ironic huh)...

 

really, so in other words, its a POS

 

the paint is the primary problem...which can be fixed. But i have had both consoles the standard in an 04 z71 crewcab and now my denali, and i would definitely choose the standard.

Main point of the post was reminding of ebay. Sorry to get off topic

 

He is right the consoles look great but need great care,mine has not been painted,it is still the O.E covering.I just try to keep everything nice.Have seen others with the issues stated above.

all the ones i have seen on ebay look like **** thats why i haven't got one yet. could have something to do with the crappy finish. thats why i thought i would try to scoop one off of here because the ones on ebay look like junk yard parts and i figured the people on here take care of there stuff better than the average person.
