Before I go visit my GM dealer figured I'd see what you guys might have laying around. Swapping to an 80e in my 03 4WD. Transmission is an 05.

Need:
Shifter cable bracket and bolts
Dip stick tube
Bell housing cover, support rods and bolts
NP246 4l80e 32 spline inupt shaft
transmission cooler lines

There is also an external heat shield for the passenger side that I would be interested in.

 

Dipstick tube should be the same as a stock truck tube, Roger.

 

Do you need a 4l80e flex plate? I have one on the 6.0 block that I just bought.

 

I don't know but everyone says they are different 60e to 80e.

I have a flexplate and spacer from my 6.0L swap. I am actually considering a custom TC so that I can use my existing SFi flexplate.

 

I used a 4L60e dipstick in my Camaro with the 4L80e. Heck somebody surely has one you can borrow, or I got one from a junkyard for $10. Give it a try. If I had one, I'd loan you one.
