I have one that is minus the bellhousing and tail housing covers. There is one bolt broken off that will need to be easied-out. Also, I believe the selector shaft will need to be salvaged from your unit. Basically, the things I needed from the Performabuilt replacement. The Performabuilt had a car shaft installed. The trans was originally slipping a bit on the 3-4 at WOT. If this interest you, let me know.

I'm trying to find an entire unit. I'm pulling out my FLT Level 5 and having it refreshed and may possibly sell it. Going to try and keep the truck on the road while I do it.

Gothca - sorry I couldn't help you. Seems like I saw some recently on Craigslist. I dont remember which city. I look at the SC cities, Charlotte, Wilmington, and Savannah.

i have a few one with 50k 500+shipping
20k 700+shipping

prices may seem high but that is what i get here shipping is most of the time around 100 to 130

If you can get a quick turn around from FLT, you may be better off renting a car for a week or two than to pay 400+ for trans and 100+ for shipping. But, I guess you could recoupe some of the money spent by reselling the used trans that you bought. Just throwing that out there.
