i've got a 5.3 shortblock down in the shop...lemme check whats on it today.

Decided to go for the 13.2 record thunder set with a 4.8L, and when i need the 5.3 i'm just gonna convert it to a 5.7 so lemme check and i'll get back to ya later today.

I got a complete set of pistons and rods from 5.3 replaced under warranty at the dealer i worked at at the time. Believe they havd 15-20k on em? Nothing wrong with them, customer complained enough about the ticking noise that the regional rep had us put new one's is. Just looked at them amd they are somewhat flat top, no valve reliefs just slightly recessed. not sure if thats what your looking for or not? I could e-mail pics if you have an interest?
