WTB 4.8 Crank
#22
I think I'm going go do some research and get to the bottom of exactly when the 4.8 cranks manual cranks were all short. I'm pretty sure it happend when they swapped to the Tremec tr3450 trans. I think it was somewhere in the 2001-2004 range.

with all the 6.0 swaps going on out there you cant tell me there is not someone willing to sell me a 4.8 crank for 100.00 shipped. Its a Boat Anchor folks, betting in my race truck than your garage floor!

I'll sell you mine Brian, but like I said I got to pull it out of the motor. Don't laugh, but how the heck do I remove the flywheel w/out the crank turning on me?? Jamb a screwdriver in there?

You should be able to shock the bolts loose. Do you have air tools?
