They did ... they were used somewhere else though. 
As well as the flanges that come with the kit, and the gaskets.
That's why I wanted to be very sure he knew what was/wasn't included.

They are cut small ... all that's there is enough pipe for the cutout part, then the cutout hanging down, with the plates.
