not sure if this is what you are looking for but let me know if so maybe we can work a deal. I will have my stock convertor out of my 2002 Sierra with the 4.8 engine I will have it out this weekend let me know if that is what you are looking for.

i let one i had go for 100 bucks. low mileage. you may want to also check for isuzu box trucks i know they got 6.0 ls motor not sure if a 80e though but i would think so. i just drove one the other day and that thing stalled higher then the vans

the box trucks do have the 80e
express/savana vans can be had with 4.8/80e
im not sure the stall speed is any higher than the 2500hd 6.0/80e (2400-2500)

i have the converter out of a express van in my truck i can stall it up to 2600 hen it starts o spin one tire... since my g80 is broke. it does it effortlessly. so im sure locked up i could ge it higher. but its a nice tight converter that works. it flashes nice before it goes into a insane one wheel burnout lol
