ok i have the money in hand i just wanna know if this intake will fit my truck its a 2001 chevrolet with a 4.8 let me know when you are in town i live in san antonio

It fits my 2001 that originally had a 5.3 in it so it will fit your truck no problem. I may actually be on the riverwalk this weekend for some fun, but I dont know for sure yet.
