Sorry for the slow response. For some reason I am not being notified that there were replies. I originally bought the cam for my 04 Sierra Denali. I was planning to put it in the 05 but decided I will not probably be keeping the truck long enough to warrant modding it too heavily. The cam will require tuning which can be done with the VHP tuner or HPTuners or Edit. I was not planning to change out the stall on it. I think you could get by with the stock converter. This is a "Torque" cam. Should be good for your low end as well as picking power up all the way to 6000 rpm. I do not have any first hand experience with the cam since I never installed it on either of my trucks. It is still brand new in the original box.

It will work on a 4.8, 5.3 or a 6.0. As far as I know 99-04. They told me I would need to send it to them to have it work on my 05.

Sorry for so many questions, but is it locked to your vin? You haven't used it yet, right?

I had it installed on my truck but reset back to stock before I got rid of it. It does not lock to vin, if it was I would not be trying to sell it

Programmer still 4 sale? What all does it allow you to modify? I hear it is way better than the Diablo or HPP III. PM me your best shipped price if you still have it.
