Different plugs besides EGR are blocked off on the newer manifolds, a fuel line/vacuum line on top of the older manifolds has no place to be hooked up on the new manifolds, the rubber line from the TB to the valve cover is in a different location on the newer manifolds and lastly (to my knowledge just by visually comparing the two) there are no brass mounting taps for a cable bracket holding the throttle and cruise control cables. If you can't visualize what I'm talking about then I'll snap pics next time I'm at the shop of the differences. I got a 2005 intake manifold to replace the 2001 manifold I have with EGR, thinking everything will just swap over until I actually started doing it, and noticed all the differences. And no, I could not just unbolt the DBW TB and bolt on the cable TB. There are differences that get in the way, thus, I'm looking for a 2002 and 2003 truck manifold.

Hmmmm.... I've got 3 or 4 intakes in my shop. I'll look them over better next time I'm out there.

You should be alright considering an '03 6.0L is still cable and not DBW, so you should have all the mounting holes up top that you need.

Thanks for asking that question for me... I have the 5.3L and didn't know if it would be a benefit for me.
