do you think that something that size would be to big for a 5.3 i know ive seen someone post recently with one of similar size in his but would that not be a might large??? thanks for the help

I believe 01Thunder has one the same cam in his 4.8L. Maybe he'll post up and correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I am...

It's pushing it, in my opinion.

With ported heads, you could actually go smaller on the duration. Efficiency is higher, so holding the valves open longer to compensate may not be needed.

That's one way to look at it.

Ask the pro's to make sure
