Superfueler for forced induction 96-99 OBS CPI GM trucks/suvs
#1
SOLD
This setup retails from Carroll Supercharging for $695 without injectors or the fuel rail...Up for grabs is a Paxta-Map Fueler programmable fuel curve generator which was supplied as part of my superchager setup that I have installed on my truck. It is used instead of an FMU or other add on system for air fuel ratio enrichment while under boost.
This type of system is especially useful in 96-99 OBS GM trucks and suvs that used Central Port Injection that does not allow larger injectors to be used for increased fuel system capacity. If you do not want to change out your entire manifold to allow for external injectors, this is another option.
One of the advantages of the superfueler is that you can add different amounts of fuel at different rpm/manifold pressure points...it does not have to be a linear amount like the fmu is. This allows more adjustablility and a more accurate fuel curve. Most of the explanation is in the manual that I can email to anyone who is intersted.
More info is available at http://www.carrollsupercharging.com/
Here's a blurb about it:
This stand alone auxillary fuel injector & computer system is the perfect compliment to any supercharged or turbocharged engine. It adds additional fuel injectors which spray into the intake manifold through a plate system, which sits in between the intake manifold and throttle body. A piggy back computer system controls these extra injectors and is fully tuneable and boost referenced!! This allows precise fuel delivery for each # of boost, while still retaining your stock computer system.
SUPERFUELER™ is a unique electronic programmable supplemental fuel injector control system. It consists of two modules; a programmable Fuel Curve Generator (FCG) and a peak-and-hold injector driver (PHD) with which you can control from 1 to 3 supplemental fuel injectors. The SUPERFUELER™ allows the user to adjust, in small increments, the amount of extra fuel supplied to the engine based upon Manifold Pressure utilizing a one, two, or three BAR MAP sensor. The tuner using Manifold Pressure thus "maps" the fuel curve.
