One of these days you should try to ride in a vehicle with a converter. It changes everything.

John, believe I wanted it in bad and seeing it on my garage floor darn near brought tears to my eyes. It wasn't in cards however. I needed my truck done by the weekend and the converter hadn't shown up yet. It actually didn't arrive until last wednesday, MANY days after I needed it. My uncle went ahead and installed that 2000 stall I mentioned instead of going with the stock converter. My initial impressions is that I really like the 2000 stall converter. I can tell a change over stock because it lost that low end sluggishness but it's nothing compared to what the Yank would've been. Once again... I was originally going to return this to TByrne but wasn't aware that it was a special order item and couldn't be returned so, that's why you see it here.

LOL , no just disappointed that it didn't get installed.

 

You can pull the trans in about an hour or 2 with hand tools.

 

I know I can but do I want to? Not really. I understand where your coming from though.

Honestly, I would've liked it in but I'm not losing sleep about it not being in there. I'm pretty happy with what I went with.

 

It's official. The converter is SOLD. Thanks to all you guys that inquired about it.
