why was it rebuilt with only 18k on it?

It was rebuilt because it was a gm warranty pull for bad front cam bearing. Turns out the bearing wasn't even that bad, so it was rebuilt since it was already apart.

A local shop called xtreme machine did the rebuild, and the engine has a 58x reluctor.

The engine has AFM/VVT, but I'm in the process of converting it to a standard ls2. Seems most of the inquires want a non afm/vvt ls2. So price converted with cam will be $2800 or $2500 without cam installed.
