Rebuilt 4l80e
#1
I have 2 4l80e's.
One is a 2005 I rebuilt. It has a rollerized output shaft, dual fed mod, new steels, Borg Warner High energy clutches, turbo 400 output bushing (wider than 4l80) all new bushings otherwise, new overrun sprag, thicker intermediate snap ring, all new thrust washers, bearings except 4th clutch, new seals and orings, Sonnax boost valve, comes with speed sensors and all electrical, pump holes drilled, etc etc. this unit was from a 2005 Chevy express van. The trans was in bad condition but I replaced all the broken parts. I initially bought this as a backup but the trans I rebuilt in my truck is performing well. I got this trans just for the case and I won't lie I got it for 120 but I've put a lot of parts in it and time so I will take $1100. I left the valve body holes stock so I can drill them to your shift firmness preference.
The other trans I have is a 2009 from a savana or express but I can't remember. I'd like to keep this trans cause it's so new for my next truck but I might just sell it anyway. It had 62k miles according to the guy I bought it from. The van was used for a mobile chemical truck so it didnT carry much weight.
I can rebuilt this one if you want, I doubt it needs it. otherwise I'll take the price I paid which was $750
If you look at some of my older posts you can see the pics of the 05 trans or issues I have had with my trans in my truck. I had problems with the trans in my truck and I had to rebuild it once again I believe the issue was with the crappy TCS converter I had because with the CIRCLE D I have not had any issues and it is the same build as before. I took the guy at TCS's advice that their refurnished stock verter would hold up in my truck. Don't make the same mistake. Anyway, I don't claim to be an expert builder but I believe I do a pretty good job now. If you want an idea of how this will performs you can take a ride in my truck. Only difference in the one in my truck is a rollerized forward clutch hub and stock steels
I would also trade for HPtuners Hp tuners pro, of EFILIVE, SS rims or OEM chevy 20's or a 6.0 maybe some SS cladding for my next truck.
If you have any questions just let me know.
