Default Prop for sale ... (boat)

It's a 4 blade 25" pitch. I can't remember the one it reaplaced, I think maybe a 3 blade 23" pitch, but it made a world of difference. The boat JUMPED out of the water and rode a lot smoother. It was also more slow speed friendly.

Here's the boat it was on:

And the prop:

BTW, the hub says 24, but I had it repitched to 25.

Asking 225 + shipping. Anyone interested?

not a bad price. mine has a vengeance 3 blade but i havent got into performance parts on my boat yet. its an 04 sea ray 22ft bowrider with the 4.3l v6. how easy are they to change? lose any top end speed? cause my boat already tops out at a breath taking 50mph

sea ray makes an excellent boat. they are HEAVY however. I work with a guy that had one and it would run and ride well in any condition.

hey Flyer....good move ditching the glastron. they are the hyundai of boats. here is a pic of my boat. yes it is loud and yes it is fast! 472ci FORD making just under 500hp hooked to a jet drive. very fun boat.

try putting your prop up on hotboat.com/forums they have ALOT of members there and lots of traffic going thru there. should sell pretty quick there.

Nice ...

I liked the Glastron. It was a really light boat. It handled pretty good and was fun to drive. For what I wanted it for, it was just about perfect. It was a 17ft with the 4.3 v6 in it. Man that thing had a hell of a whole shot for a big boat like that.

stealth, they are not hard at all to change. The nut that holds it on, and then the little spider washer comes off. Pull your's off put a new one on. The spider washer goes ontop of that, push the tabs down, put the nut back on, and you're ready to go.

The 4 blade over the 3 blade will ad a bunch of whole shot. It also depends on what pitch you have now. The 25 pitch should add to the top end, but it comes down to will your boat turn that prop the speed it needs to get more top end out of it.

I could get mine to top out at 52 going by the GPS, but the boat speedo said 56 at best. With the 3 blade aluminum that came with it, it would bounce off the rev limiter.

I have a 4.3 with an older Mercury Alpha 1, do you know if that prop would fit?
