purge valve selenoid.
Greetings:
I need a purge valve for a 2005 Silverado, 4X4, Single cab, 4.8 engine. The valve mounts on the back of the fuel tank with a hose going to the EVAP canister. There is a small air filter attached to the purge valve. The part number is 19207763, called EVAP selinoid. Do you have the part I need on the Silverado you are parting out, and is it stuck open? Blow through it. It should be closed. If you have it, try testing it with 12 volts to see if it opens and closes. Revove the selinoid hose from the evap canister, pulling the U shaped plastic pin, and leave the hose attached. The hose does not readily detach from the selinoid. If you have the part give me a price. Thanks Eldon
