Default OEM Radio CD/Casette player

I have a new take out Radio CD/Casette player for sale that came from my 2003 GMC Sonoma when it was brand new. Radio has less than a week on it. I will do $100 shipped.

Default stereo

I was curious if you have to have this stereo programmed to your truck. I need one, but don't want to go to the dealer to have it done.

I don't know how they work, I would assume it'd need to be activated somehow. Still a good upgrade though for someone who only has an AM/FM radio.
