Is it any better than the factory shifter? 2-3 any better?

depending on your year (if your clutch line has the quick-connect at the master cylinder), you need to do the drill mod to fix that

Mines a 2006, I don't think it has the quick connect.

This shifter makes alot of difference. I never did the drill mod but the shorter throw helped alot.

There are also springs that can be removed to change shifter firmness.

Pull the 4 screws that hold the existing shift boot to the floor, remove the boot, remove the 4 bolts holding stock shifter mechanism to transmission, then reverse the process for new shifter. It still has the instructions, and the kit is 100% complete.

130 for shifter and stock (not actual stock, but shift **** that comes with the kit originally) shift ****.

170 with the extra hurst shift **** with button.
