I just bought a used LS1, the guy said that he had just replaced the water pump before he pulled the motor. I would use it, but it is set-up different than the one on my truck. So, I'm just gonna use all of my truck accessories on the LS1. It's almost brand new and looks like it was never used but for a few miles. $50 + shipping. PM if interested.
