I may be interested, I'm putting a 4L80E in my 98 Formula Firebird with a 370 cu in Turbo setup, how much power is this good to and why are you not using it. Is it more of a tow style convertor or is it more performance orientated. Thanks Dave

This was built for my supercharged 6 liter and it was setup for holding up in a 4700 lb + truck. It has a full size lockup clutch which is good for towing but also good for holding up to full throttle runs with the TCC locked up. I would think it would be well suited to a turbo 370ci setup. The drivablity on it is great. I put it in when I did the '80 conversion and only went to the track once. The 60 ft time was soft (went from a 4l60 to the 4l80 and from 28" tires to 30" all at the same time) Then I had a motor problem and it had to come out. So while it was apart I called Yank and asked them if they thought they could pick up my performance and he assured me he could so I bought a $1000 Yank and guess what? It ran exactly the same at the track, but the Yank is a little less street friendly. If it doesn't sell and I ever have the truck apart again I will swap em out and sell the Yank.

As far as I know it is a single disk. I never asked when I had it built. I can call Midwest at give them the serial number and find out for sure if ya want.
